Bringing together influential and leading actors in Aluminum manufacturing and applying field, ALUS is considered as the major meeting that cutting edge technologies are presented along with exchanging visions and experiences. Mr. Murat Kader has contributed to the 6th convention and made a seminal speech on the role of material selection in architecture. Mr. Kader put emphasis that, no matter in architecture or in other profession, doing the right leads to the better solution then reaching to the beauty. He underlined that material brings identity to the buildings and spaces and therefore exploring and inventing the role of material is a necessary quest that an architect should follow. His presentation gave examples of universal and contemporary design language of the façades and showed how aluminum changed (and will change) the course of architecture.
